MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields. Experience in machine
learning and Bayesian networks will be valued. Strong skills in programming with Python is necessary. Proficiency in English is
required.
Description of Work:
The chosen candidate will work with the Computational Intelligence Group (http://cig.fi.upm.es/) at the
School of Computer Science of the Technical University of Madrid in Madrid, Spain.
The main objective of the project is the outcome prediction and treatment efficiency in patients hospitalized with Covid-19 in Madrid.
This Project is in collaboration with Fundacion BBVA, with funding granted
<https://www.fbbva.es/noticias/adjudicadas-4-ayudas-a-equipos-de-investigacion-cientifica-sars-cov-2-y-covid-19-en-big-data-e-inteligencia-artificial/> in a highly competitive call (4 projects selected out of 150).
Duration of contract: 23 months (approx). From November 1, 2020 to October 9, 2022
Salary: €24000 per annum (full time)
