Entrepreneurship and Employment Day

As part of the event, students will receive information on their options for starting up their own business through the UPM Technology-Based Enterprise Start-Up Programme or TICProc Solutions - the Facultad de Informática's student-run junior enterprise -, as well as advice on their professional placement options, how to go into a job interview, how to write a curriculum or what scholarships and employment offers are open to Facultad de Informática students.

Undergraduate informatics engineering students attending the event will qualify for 0.5 free choice credits.

This talk targets senior students that are about to make the transition to the labour market and should provide:

• Knowledge about how to write a cover letter and curriculum vitae and how to make the most of a curriculum
• Advice on how to make a good impression at a job interview
• Information on tools for finding for a good job and looking for professional openings that match your profile.
