There are three types of FINAL-YEAR PROJECT:
- Software Project, involving the development of a software product applying a development process standard. Students should learn to work effectively as individuals, organizing and planning their work independently or as members of a team, and taking into account the relationship between software quality and the operation of appropriate human processes during software development.
- System or Service Project, involving the development, deployment, organization and/or management of a computer system or service in a simulated or real business environment to improve its business processes. Students should apply good project, systems and services management practice and recommend a business strategy for the design and development of new products, distribution channel relations and business communication strategy.
- Business Plan, involving the simulated or real start-up of a business that produces and commercializes computer software, systems or services. Students should implement a product or service development plan, conduct a return-on-investment analysis, prepare a marketing plan and draft engineering and production schedules.
Optional ECTS credits
Third year: fifth and sixth term
- Choose 15 from the offering of 54 ECTS. Limited to subjects worth 3 or 6 ECTS to be taken over both terms
Fourth year: seventh term
- Choose 12 ECTS (including Erasmus exchange and/or placement)
Fourth year: eighth term
- Choose 18 ECTS (including Erasmus exchange and/or placement)
