Assembly Hall
The assembly hall is located on the ground floor of Building 1. It measures approximately 248.70 m2 and can seat up to 261 people. It is used for institutional acts, like the annual degree awards ceremony, and cultural and scientific activities with a large audience, like plays, guest lectures or international congresses.
The assembly hall is equipped with an integrated audiovisual system with the following components:
- Audio mixing console
- Video matrix switch
- VGA matrix switch
- VGA video projector
- Microphones and loudspeaker system
- Remote control video cameras
- Video to VGA converter
- VGA to video converter
- DVD player
- VHS player/recorder
- MPEG-2 encoder
- MPEG-2 decoder
- POLYCOM VS4000 video conferencing equipment allowing four simultaneous conferences with multicast video streaming
- PC for playing/recording audiovisual material
- AMX control system to manage all the components
